Create Poll !

Poll allows you to add interactivity to your site by adding a question of your choice to your site or homepage. By adding a Web Poll, you can start tracking the opinions and knowledge of your visitors today!

CREATE A WEB POLL



You have to click on the "Create Poll" option in the "POLL CENTER" drop down menu box. A new page is displayed whith the create poll form.

Fill the fields:

Poll Title: Fill this field with the title of your poll. After the creation of this poll, you will be able to see the results of the votes in clicking on this title in the "POLL CENTER" drop down menu. For our example we typed "Visitors Age" as title.

Poll Width: It's the width (in pixels) of the poll. Enter the desired value.

Poll Background Color. It's the color in htlm format of the background poll.

Font Color . It's the color in htlm format of the poll text.

Poll Question. Enter here the text of your question. For our example, we typed "How old are you".

Poll answers[#1 to #10]: Enter in these fields the various possible answers. Enter the word "NULL" if the field is empty.

Poll State:
  • Enabled: You wand include this poll in the rotating polls.
  • Dissabled :Exclude this poll of the rotating polls.

    • Note: You can found the rotating code in clicking on "Poll center" in the the "POLL CENTER" drop down menu.

    Poll Results:
  • Public selected : The result of the votes are publics.
  • Private selected : Only the owner of the addfreestats account can see the result of the votes.


    • Submit button:Push this button to create the poll.

    After the submission::



    Afer the submission, the poll is created and displayed, you can edit or delete it. The normal html code of the poll is available in a small text box. Copy and paste this code on you web site page for displaying the poll.

    Note: If you want display several various polls at the the same place on you web site page, you need to paste and copy the rotating code. (see poll center bellow)

    VIEW THE POLL RESULT:



    You can see the results of the votes in clicking on the Poll title in the "POLL CENTER" drop down menu.
