Have I done something wrong? Or is it only because I am the owner of the account that it's visible for me, but not for anybody else? A: That should be the reason--YOU can see your stats from your button link since it'll recognize the cookie on your computer, or it'll ask you to log in if the cookie has expired, but others should only get sent to the "top by traffic" page. and can't see your stats without your password. Note: 'Protect your stats by a password' option must be setted on YES (Edit your account). Q:I'll get a message from AFS saying "here's your password, requested from such-and-such IP number", when I didn't request it. A:That happens when people see the "send me my password" link on the page they may be sent to from your button, and they think they'll get their own password to view the stats. AFS only sends the e-mail to the account registered with that button code, so no one gets your password, so just ignore those e-mail notices. Q: I can't login. A:You browser must accept addfreestats cookies. May be AddFreeStats cookies are corrupted! To remedy this problem delete your addfreestats cookies or use a different browser. To do thet go in your cookies repertory eg C:\WINDOWS\Cookies and delete all files. Q: AddFreeStats displays 'Best Sites' button on my site. A: AddFreeStats can display 3 different buttons on your site. The button displayed on your site is defined by the state of the AFS servers : (speed, memory, load average, bandwidth used, internet route beetween your ISP and the AFS servers...) You can disable the 'best site button' by editing your account and select 'yes' in the 'Disable best site button' field. Q: How to get an invisible button on my site. A: AddFreeStats can display an invisible button. To enable this option, you have to edit your account and click on 'upgrade' in the field 'Invisible Button Service'. Q: InLive displays 0 or 1 visitor all the time... A:Inlive uses the information collected by the AddFreeStats tracker. So, on your page(s) of your site you have to place the AddFreeStats tracker html code (button) and the inlive html code (inlive box). Q: AddFreeCounter is not incremented. A: AddFreeCounter uses the information collected by the AddFreeStats tracker.
